EkaOlogik est un duo live composé de Patrick ABOS et Yoanna NICOLA. Issus d’une formation trip hop , les deux artistes créent aujourd’hui une musique down tempo psybient, mélange subtil de leurs influences shoegaze, trance, dub, post rock et new age. Leur live, hypnotique et aérien, vous emmène dans un univers sonore ou les rythmes progressifs dansent avec de fines mélodies, enveloppées par des nappes souvent saturées. Association de sons synthétiques et de lignes acoustiques, qu’il créent eux-même (chants, flûte, guitare, violon). Le projet a vu le jour en 2009 et a joué son premier live à l’occasion du festival ambiant Ambiosonic. Il s’agit à ce moment d’un live pur machine, hardware (MC 909). Puis en 2013 , les « ekaO » commencent à s’intéresser à la technique de production MAO, en composant des titres toujours ambient. A partir de 2015, les créations s’intensifient aboutissant en 2016 sur un set live psybient. Depuis le début, ekaOlogik s’est produit sur différentes scènes et festivals (Ambiosonic Festival , Hadra Trance Festival, Harmonic Festival, Eclectic, Equinoxe, Magic Castle, The psychedelic box, work in progress Transubtil…) . Ils figurent dans les compilations : Hadracadabra 5, Turlitava 2 et Chiling Dragon Tales. Leur album psybient “Light Seeds” sorti en 2017 sous le label Hadra Altervision Records, est suivi d’un ep digital “Perseida” qui sort au printemps 2018 également sous ce label.

EkaOlogik is a live duet composed of Patrick ABOS and Yoanna NICOLA. From a trip hop band, the two artists today create a psybient down tempo music, subtle blend of their shoegaze, trance, dub, post rock and new age influences. Their live, hypnotic and aerial, takes you into a world of sound or progressive rhythms dance with fine melodies, wrapped by sounds often saturated. A combination of synthetic sounds and acoustic lines, which they create themself (voices, flute, guitar, violin). The project was born in 2009 and played its first live at Ambiosonic Ambient Festival. It is at this moment a live pure machine, hardware (MC 909).Then in 2013, the “ekaO” begin to take an interest in the MAO production technique, composing always ambient songs. From 2015, the creations intensify culminating in 2016 on a psybient live set. From the beginning, ekaOlogik has performed on different stages and festivals (Ambiosonic Festival, Hadra Trance festival, Harmonic Festival, Eclectic, Equinox, Magic Castle, The psychedelic box, Transubtil work in progress …). They appear in compilations: Hadracadabra 5, Turlitava 2 and Chiling Dragon Tales. Their psybient album “Light Seeds” released in 2017 under the label Hadra Altervision Records, is followed by a digital ep “Perseida” which comes out in spring 2018 also under this label.
